New browser plug-in tracks political donations from corporations to politicians ...
... next we need to correlate that with votes ...
While the NRA would be a logical starting place, that would take this thread into another gun control rant fest.
If we want to choose one of the major players there are plenty to choose from:
Koch Brothers for starters ...
Enjoy

to share.

corrupt enough to mass murder children?
RAZD writes:
How corrupt are your politicians?
Ummm, . . . fully?
For e.g.: The bribes donations from the American Israel Public Affairs Committee . . .
quote:
What AIPAC wants can be summed up very succinctly: a powerful Israel free to occupy the territory it chooses; enfeebled Palestinians; and unquestioning support for Israel by the United States.
The Storm over the Israel Lobby | Michael Massing | The New York Review of Books
What AIPAC gets for their "donations' to congress:
quote:
the nearly $3 billion in direct foreign assistance [the us] provides every year, the access it gives Israel to top-drawer weapons like F-16 jets, the thirty-two UN Security Council resolutions critical of Israel that [america] has vetoed since 1982,
The Storm over the Israel Lobby | Michael Massing | The New York Review of Books
So if you ever wonder why congress UNANIMOUSLY votes to support Israel and its continuing support of murder of hundreds of Palestinian civilians (two hundred+ children so far in this latest criminal excursion into Gaza), congress happily accepts blood money. Even supposed progressive Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont.
While in Congress, Hillary Clinton supposedly got the largest cuts from AIPAC. Such a hypocrite, she's currently saying her vote FOR the Iraq war was a mistake. But if she runs for president, you can be sure she'll do the bidding of the AIPAC again. So, if you like more Palestinian and middle-east children murdered, vote for Hillary.
If you want a more detailed explanation, these two sites are pretty good reads:
though dated,
"The Storm over the Israel Lobby"
The Storm over the Israel Lobby | Michael Massing | The New York Review of Books
And recently:
"Blinded by Israel, Visionless in Gaza"
Zcomm » Blinded by Israel, Visionless in Gaza
And nearly every american voter doesn't mind that congress is thoroughly bought.
Although voters give congress extremely low single-digit approval ratings, every election, americans act against their best interests and go on to vote virtually every congressperson back into office.
There is something mentally wrong with americans. I believe only a sociopathic mindset can look away from horror of its own making, and instead focus on life's trivialities . . .

Re: corrupt enough to mass murder children?
Oh, . . . a flippant remark from a typical american about the civilian murders america supports in Gaza.
Gee whiz, I didn't see that coming.
Thanks CS. I know how much you like a hearty laugh over other people's nightmares, so here's another post to chuckle about:
