That's certainly not my position.
Do electric cars make sense for many people now? No and I think most people would agree. Does that mean it never will? Be silly to think such a thing.
My view is that electric cars are inevitable, a really good thing and definately the future. I'm just kean that those for whom money is no object charitably donate into the R&D for the next Ford and not those with kind hearts and no money.
