I made neither an accusation nor a claim. I asked a question. This is what you said:
So you don't think the Constitution should be the supreme law of the land? Technically it's a question but it's really more of an accusation that I don't think the Constitution should be the supreme law of the land. Of course I think it should.

...Constitution should be the supreme law of the land. Of course I think it should. But who's interpretation of the Constitution is to prevail? One of your churches or maybe the one branch of government Constitutionally empowered to be the final interpreter? If you support the constitution then you must agree with the provisions giving SCOTUS the final say. Note I did not say you must agree with their rulings, but you must acknowledge the finality of those rulings in law. Edited by AZPaul3, : No reason given.

But remember Winston County. Oooh. Nice one Jar. Hey didn't you get suspended once for posting a reference that we had to look up to understand? LoL

Since I've answered them all a bazillion times before... No, you never answered my question to you, but I'll ask again. What happens when a state has a vote to allow gay folks to marry the person they choose. Then, a few years later, another vote is held and the 'traditionalists' prevail. When does the voting stop? Don't you see the problem here?

Oooh. Nice one Jar. Hey didn't you get suspended once for posting a reference that we had to look up to understand? LoL Only once? I must be remiss or slipping.
Or in 1963. What is so funny about Roy Moore (beyond just his general antics and ignorance) is that there was speculation a few years back that he planned to run as a Presidential Candidate of the Constitutional Party. It makes you wonder if he has ever read the Constitution or like Biblical Christians and the Bible just listened to the sermons and apologists. Hopefully though the spirit of Winston County still lives in Alabama. A good sign is that when Roy baby ran for governor of the State of Alabama he could not garner even twenty percent of the vote.Anyone so limited that they can only spell a word one way is severely handicapped!

I think it's the SCOTUS who are acting unconstitutionally by calling the vote by state citizens unconstitutional. And I believe four of the nine SCOTUS agree with me, it's just that we happen to have a wildly politically correct majority in the five who would overthrow the votes. This has happened in state after state now, state citizens voting against gay marriage and courts telling them they have no right to their vote. This is what is unconstitutional.
ooh child wants to know what about the people voting one way one time and another way another time and doesn't that sort of make the whole thing untenable? Of course not, that's democracy.

Even Thomas Jefferson warned that SCOTUS could get too much power, and he was right.

I think it's the SCOTUS who are acting unconstitutionally by calling the vote by state citizens unconstitutional. When did the Supreme Court do that with regard to gay marriage? Has someone jumped the gun here? Aren't all of these latest rulings Federal Circuit Court rulings? The constitution places limits on what things you can do with popular vote. You and you buddies cannot suddenly to vote on whether women should have the vote vote, or that people born in this county are not citizens no matter how much you hate the idea. On balance that's likely a good thing. If you really cannot stand to abide by those limits, there are plenty of Western democracies which don't have a bill of rights. Of course you may need to leave your guns here when you go. They just did it with Alabama, you missed it? Justice Thomas actually objected to their doing that because it signals what their vote will be in April. Here's the
Washington Post on it. Edited by Faith, : No reason given.

The Supreme Court did not rule on the issue. The SC simply did not block a lower court ruling.

Wonderful. That's what we call non-responsive.
Just in case you're interested in answering the question I actually asked, I'll repeat it: What do you think should happen to state laws that run afoul of the the Constitution? Faith writes: I think it's the SCOTUS who are acting unconstitutionally by calling the vote by state citizens unconstitutional. Now that is a great example of willful ignorance Faith. You haven't read the US Constitution or the Bible have you Faith? Please explain how the SCOTUS can act unconstitutionally, Faith as well as provide the evidence that has happened, or is this just another of your unsupported assertions?Anyone so limited that they can only spell a word one way is severely handicapped!

I'm pretty sure she just means she doesn't like what they're doing. But saying they are acting unconstitutionally sounds better.
