Re: The Holy Spirit glorifies Christ
You can hardly determine whether I am right or wrong when you do not even know what the Holy Spirit looks like.

Re: The Holy Spirit glorifies Christ
And you cannot claim to know what the Holy Spirit looks like when you think it is a piece of dust.
Its also hilarious that you have no way of identifying what it would actually look like, or how you can tell the difference between the Holy Spirit and a piece of dust, or even can explain any part of the process at all... all you can fall back on is that you have magic powers.
Well whoopty-fucking-doo. Another charlatan with delusions of grandeur.

Re: Discerning the Spirit
Atonement can be made by offering up good works.
Atonement by offering up good works is not a Christian practice. If you want to validate that Jesus did tell you to do that, I would expect that you would quote some thing that Jesus said rather than torturing something he did not say.

Hi Scott,
Scott writes:

Scott when you see the Holy Spirit He will look just like Jesus does. Other than that you are not going to see Him.
They are one and the same they just have different manifestations.
God Bless,

2 Maccabees 12:46. Thus he made atonement for the dead that they might be freed from this sin.
You do not believe that Jesus would acccept good works as atonement for the dead? Just what then would he accept considering that we no longer make animal sacrifices?

Re: The Holy Spirit glorifies Christ
The Holy Trinity is three separate persons in one godhead. The Holy Spirit is not and does look like Jesus.

We both know that 2 Maccabees 12:43-46 provides no support for good works providing atonement for anyone, living or dead. And we also both know that you are not Jewish.
You do not believe that Jesus would acccept good works as atonement for the dead? Just what then would he accept considering that we no longer make animal sacrifices?
How do we make atonement for the living giving that we no longer make animal sacrifices? What is acceptable forgiveness for your own sins? Did not Jesus answer these questions?

2 Maccabees 12:46 is in the Catholic Bible. I am Catholic. Atonement is made for us through the blood of Christ. It is part of the Catholic faith that we can make atonement for the dead. Disbelievers such as yourself do nothing for the most needy of souls. You and and your kind should be ashamed of yourselves. You preach against God's love.

I did not challenge you on any of that. I pointed out that nothing in that passage you repeatedly cite says anything about works. Prayer and sacrifice are mentioned. Apparently you have no real argument to the contrary.
You preach against God's love.
Surely not.

You said that atonement for the dead was not a Christian practice. And half all all Christians are Catholic.
FYI, the offering up good works that I would otherwise be rewarded for is a sacrifice.
Atonement for the dead is part of God's love. And you speak out against it.

Do you have Catholic advisors you talk to about your experience? Do you attend church, go to confession, have a priest to talk to ? I rather doubt you'd find support for your idea of the Holy Spirit in your own Catholic Church either, Scott.
Not sure about your idea of atonement. I'm glad you added the fact that the RCC affirms that Christ's blood atones for sin. There is no need for any other atonement then. The sacrifice of the Son of God is more than sufficient to atone for all of us. It's a blasphemy to think any other atonement is needed, and certainly not the atonement of sinners; only the sinless Son of God can atone for us.
But of course I'm with the Protestant Reformers against the Roman Church's false doctrines. That must be half your problem, and their history of mysticism probably fuels your belief in your mystical experiences. I'd still urge you to consider that you are deceived by false doctrine and demonic influence. I don't think you are a loony, I just think your experiences have led you into deception.
