Ben Carson is not the originator of the believe that the pyramids were for storing grain. Oh I didn't think he was. That doesn't make the belief any the less stupid however, imho.Could there be any greater conceit, than for someone to believe that the universe has to be simple enough for them to be able to understand it ?

Ben Carson is not the originator of the believe that the pyramids were for storing grain. I suspect that a few people are actually encouraged to vote for Ben Carson because of his stated belief. Maybe he just played too much Civilization II. The pyramids worked as granaries in that game. To be fair to the man, though, he did say this 17 years ago. I'm sure he said enough stupid things last week that it's not necessary to go digging in the archives like this.

To be fair to the man, though, he did say this 17 years ago. But he's standing by it now, 'cos it's in the Bible, which no it isn't.

The Bible says nothing about grain being stored in pyramids. His church, which I understand to be the Seventh Day Adventists, does not endorse the belief that grain was stored in the pyramids.
Ben Carson also claims that he cannot recall Barrack Obama being subjected to tough scrutiny. Edited by NoNukes, : No reason given. Edited by NoNukes, : No reason given. Under a government which imprisons any unjustly, the true place for a just man is also in prison. Thoreau: Civil Disobedience (1846) History will have to record that the greatest tragedy of this period of social transition was not the strident clamor of the bad people, but the appalling silence of the good people. James Bond eats scrambled eggs for breakfast. Indeed, scrambled, not stirred.

Seems Ben Carson's campaign staff are a tad ignorant of the true geography of our own country:

Let us bid a fond farewell to the Republican who's so anti-science he attacked volcano monitoring. Like volcanoes aren't something we might want to monitor. Also I don't think much of the horse he rode in on.

We'll trade you Maine for Quebec. What? And have to import our lobster and maple syrup? No deal. You're stuck with Quebec. Now, if you want to talk New Jersey ...

Little resistance from the shell-shocked survivors of the New Conservative Paradise... But only if they take New Jersey, too, or something that big, like Christie. Here.
"We have welcomed refugees -- the tired, huddled masses -- for centuries. That’s been the history of the United States," he told Fox News in a video featured on Cruz's website. "We should continue to do so." He added: "We have to continue to be vigilant to make sure those coming are not affiliated with the terrorists, but we can do that." Since last week's Paris attacks, the GOP presidential candidate has been a fierce critic of the Obama administration's policy to permit some Syrian refugees into the United States. "It is nothing less than lunacy, Cruz said on Saturday, citing security concerns. "It makes no sense whatsoever for us to be bringing in refugees who our intelligence cannot determine if they are terrorists here to kill us or not."
