But natural powers have to have something to exist in like the universe.
The universe has not always existed.
The universe as we know it may not have existed at one time. As far as we know, natural powers have to have something "to exist in".
The sensible approach is to start from what we know and work from there. After all, that is how we got the knowledge that we have now.
It makes no sense to say that there "must" have been some voodoo "super" power. They said the same thing about fire and that turned out to be wrong. Don't make the same mistake about everything we don't know yet.

If we say God is Love, our critics point to examples of what they claim to be other sources of love, such as human empathy, will, and emotion.
We know that there are human sources of love, don't we? There are human emotions, aren't there? If we can trace love to a human origin that does exist, why do we need to keep looking? You might as well assert God as the cause of a hydroelectric dam - we know it was manmade but God "must" still be the source. Citing God as the ultimate source for anything and everything becomes a useless exercise.

How do you know that it was a he?
I was privileged to meet Him in 1964 when I was dead for 3 hours.
What other possible explanations did you consider?
