No, I want you to observe the global reaction and judge people based on your heart---as Jesus would do. I believe that many people in the US confuse and conflate Christianity with Patriotism. Additionally, I have seen no evidence that the problem is Islam--the greater religious group of a billion people worldwide. I happen to know many Islamic people who are very civilized, moral, and who also have turned their facebook pictures temporarily into the French colors out of respect.Some of my internet friends live in Sweden. They have very similar dreams and ambitions in life as young Americans--both Christian and secular. They are very similar to Americans and are very respectful of God.The problem of evil transcends religions and cultural boundaries. Evil is a condition of the human heart--perhaps born out of desperation at times.

Except that we dont want Saudi Arabia actively against us....they have the weapons...and the money...and the OIL....to do serious damage by supporting our enemies even more actively than they do now.Politics makes strange bedfellows and we want Saudi Arabia in our bed as long as possible.

I fear that the consequences would bankrupt us. I agree with you that it is moral not to support them. I feel, however, that in order to remain a global superpower we must be on good terms with them. How much are we the people willing to sacrifice simply for being morally the good guys?

Their dream of an ideal Muslim Utopia is losing. The culture that they live in is dominated by wealthy sell-outs to the West...while the people-at-large are unable to earn decent livings en mass.Christian Fundamentalists quite possibly would also become violent were their American Dream Utopia destroyed. If we can't raise our children in a world of opportunity, Nobody Else will succeed either!
