I guess this confirms my standing at EvC as a certified wacko
It would if confirmation was remotely necessary, but the evidence you provide daily is more than enough.
Remember motivated reasoning? When you hear about stories of antibiotics no longer being effective you imagine it's the end times. Hasn't it crossed your mind that before modern medicine millions were killed by diseases that we've since wiped out? And that our creation of antibiotics and vaccines has stopped billions of people suffering and dying from simple diseases - often in childhood? Before modern medicine even pregnancy was often a death sentence for mother and child.
We've never been healthier or safer or lived as long. This is one area that you could actually research and get real evidence for. But you won't be able to because you are incapable of putting your biases aside and using what you believe to be your god given mind.

When we were still basically a Christian nation God blessed us with all kinds of medical discoveries and other benefits. Now that we've been sliding for a few decades into paganism and opposing His Law, we are under judgment. It could be just a local judgment but it seems to be worldwide. But it IS judgment and unless we reverse course even you aren't going to like the result.
Motivated reasoning demonstrated in real time.
I just explained to you how we've 'never had it so good' and you totally ignore the evidence of modern medicine which is STILL IMPROVING. Your last end times predictor was AIDS, but somehow mankind managed to evade god's wrath by finding drugs, education and practices that control it. So that is conveniently forgotten and you think of something else that might be a helpful indicator.
What are you going to do when gene therapy starts becoming routine and some of god's world's worst inventions are eradicated or curable?
"Current and possible candidates for gene therapy include cancer, AIDS, cystic fibrosis, Parkinson's and Alzheimer's diseases, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (Lou Gehrig's disease), cardiovascular disease and arthritis. In cases such as cystic fibrosis or hemophilia, disease results from a mutation in a single gene."
I suppose the irony in the fact that it is evolution that is causing our antibiotics to become less effective is lost on you too.

Yes, which shows God's blessings haven't run out,
Ffs. You say that the loss of effectiveness of antibiotics is a sign of god's judgement and the end of times is on us. I point out that in fact, everything is improving and you say that's god's blessing.
So you argue in each direction simultaneously without the slightest embarassment. It's a real talent.

What's so hard to understand about Good stuff is God's blessings, Bad stuff is His displeasure? Both can go on at the same time, obviously.
So anything pagan Americans do, like find cures for the bad stuff that god made because of his displeasure in pagan Americans, is actually his blessings on pagan Americans. Gottit.
It does seem a bit odd that the pagan Americans that can afford to pay for the cures are blessed, whilst the poor in developing countries are still suffering and dying from his displeasure. But I'm sure you have a perfectly coherant explanation.
But I'm a bit confused - is it end times or not?
