So scenario.
Trump wins Presidency. Democrats take back Senate. Paul Ryan remains as Speaker of the House. What would the next four years be like?

There will be wars.
Chance as a real force is a myth. It has no basis in reality and no place in scientific inquiry. For science and philosophy to continue to advance in knowledge, chance must be demythologized once and for all. —RC Sproul "A lie can travel half way around the world while the truth is putting on its shoes." —Mark Twain " ~"If that's not sufficient for you go soak your head."~Faith Whoever trusts in his own mind is a fool, but he who walks in wisdom will be delivered.~Proverbs 28:26

Early voting was available in my county and I just cast my ballot for Hillary. Florida is a critical swing state and I am certainly not taking any chances with the potential of President Great Pumpkin.
Tons of Trump signs in my area. Where I live is pretty affluent and we have lots of Republicans around here. By the way, I do have to point out the irony of someone living in a million dollar house with Trump signs all over their lawn. For people who want to 'Make America Great Again', they seem to have done well for themselves. Current polls show Hillary with a very slight lead in Florida. The one encouraging sign is that Latino early voting turnout is huge this cycle relative to others. More than double what it was in the previous election. So with luck, they will be the deciding factor and give Florida to Hillary. By the way, is anyone besides me concerned that if Trump loses, he will not concede defeat and try to drag this out for weeks by questioning the legitimacy of the election outcome?

By the way, is anyone besides me concerned that if Trump loses, he will not concede defeat and try to drag this out for weeks by questioning the legitimacy of the election outcome? I'm not concerned. I am more concerned that Trump might pull off a win than I am about his whining if he loses. Almost certainly any "dragging out" will be ineffective and short lived. One mantra i keep on hearing is how the two candidates are so bad, there will be low turnout. It appears that Trump terrifies enough minorities that that might not be true. Of course, most of the people who have been saying that have been republicans.

We may well see minorities deciding this race. Think about that. That will be another nail in the coffin for the GOP. And I do think there is a significant portion of the democrat party that is less than thrilled with Hillary, so you may see some "privileged" white male democrats staying home. And I think there will be a significant number of republicans that are less than thrilled to vote for Trump, but will be happy to vote against Hillary, just because it is Hillary.
... Of course, most of the people who have been saying that have been republicans. Tell them that Obama is coming for their guns on Nov 8th and they need to stay home for protection. by our ability to understand Rebel☮American☆Zen☯Deist ... to learn ... to think ... to live ... to laugh ... to share. It doesn't take a genius, or a Democrat, to understand that the man isn't fit to lead, and many Republicans have enough sense and conscience to agree. There's a lack of thought and analysis in those houses. I have a theory explaining Trump's Republican support: Get him elected, get him impeached and convicted (shouldn't take long for him to commit an impeachable offense), then inaugurate Mike Pence and voil, the country has a Republican president who isn't stark raving mad. --Percy

I am not trilled with Hillary either. I think that she is a candidate that the GOP hate, and will try to obstruct like crazy. Then again, I think that is the M.O. of the current GOP leadership.. obstruct, but not lead, or give tax breaks to the 1%, and cut the safety net for the poor.

A nice theory. But my guess is that is too intricate and well thought to ever be a viable strategy from the GOP side. I think the more likely scenario is that Republicans are far too brainwashed at this stage to vote for anything other than a Republican. It's almost becoming a cult if it isn't one already. And speaking of impeachments, so much for their plans of trying to gather impeachment steam against Hillary for her emails: https://www.washingtonpost.com/...c0-7be8f848c492_story.html

Nice head fake by the head of the FBI. Almost like a Keystone Cops routine. I doubt that either Trump or Hillary will suffer this fool more than a couple of days after their inaugurations. ... then inaugurate Mike Pence and voil, the country has a Republican president who isn't stark raving mad. Except that Pence is stark raving delusional. ... I think that she is a candidate that the GOP hate, and will try to obstruct like crazy. ... I think we can take that as a given. There will be no honeymoon. Even if she wins AND the democrats retake the senate, they will likely lose it again in 2018. That gives her two years to appoint court judges (lots of federal judge vacancies, not just Supreme Court) and the senate can invoke majority votes to approve with no filibuster. And that's it. And that's it. Actually that would be far more than I could even hope for. There are over 100 current Federal Judgeships open plus the deciding one on the Supreme Court. Federal Judges serve for life or until they retire. Add 100 progressive Federal Judges and a deciding vote (maybe more since there may well be additional SCOTUS openings in the next four years would do more to improve the US than most anything I can imagine.
