There's a sense in which she is completely unreal. But, in the sense that you were asking, she is for real. And there a whole bunch of other Trump supporters who think the same way.

Probably Trump read something misleading at Breitbart again and then put fingers in gear without thinking or checking.
According to this report
Trump’s split screen: A two-hour virtual conversation between the president and ‘Fox & Friends’,
Trump was watching the FOX network. And they mentioned the 122 released who returned to the battlefield. They were apparently quite clear that 113 of those had been released by Bush. And that report set Trump off into tweeting that Obama did it.
