Next Generation Left
along with 12% of the public.
Generally young, well-educated and financially comfortable, the Next Generation Left have very liberal attitudes on many issues, including homosexuality, abortion, the environment and foreign policy. While overall supportive of an activist government, most are wary of expanding the social safety net. Most also have relatively positive views of Wall Street’s impact on the economy. While most affiliate with the Democratic Party or lean Democratic, few consider themselves strong Democrats. Compare groups on key issues.
They got the young bit wrong....

I tried but I don't like the choices so I stopped.
I did it for you. I may have been a bit too liberal for you on finance, other than that, it's bang on.
Your best fit is...
Steadfast Conservative

This overwhelmingly Republican group holds very conservative attitudes across most issues, including social policy and the size and scope of government. However, they generally are critical of business and Wall Street. Overall, Steadfast Conservatives also express highly negative attitudes toward immigrants and take a skeptical view of U.S. global involvement.

But I hate the questions. They are either both true or both false or represent nothing I identify with.
There's nothing special about you Faith - we all found some of the choices poor/irritating. But by and large we can all recognise ourselves in the outcome can't we?

Finding the choices pretty easy no doubt shows the test itself is "solid liberal" like you. I had a lot of trouble with the choices because they don't have a clue about how the right thinks and just impose their bias on us.
Consider this very carefully Faith, it may tell you something about how confirmation bias works.
These posters said they found the choices difficult
RAZD - liberal
Tangle - liberal
14171dm - left
Nwr - ?
Posters that haven't commented
Cat's Eyes - outsider
Jar - ?
Theodoric - liberal
Posters that found it easy
Ringo - liberal
You conclude that because *you* found it a difficult choice and one liberal found it easy that it's biased towards liberals. But at least 4 liberals found it hard.
You formed your conclusion based on only one liberal view, whilst the balanced view from what you've just read is that we mostly found it hard to choose.
Why did you conclude what you did from these very simple facts.

Je suis Charlie. Je suis Ahmed. Je suis Juif. Je suis Parisien.

I am sure that anyone who has no problem choosing is a liberal. Nothing you said implies otherwise.
What??? Are the 4 (now 5) that said that they had trouble choosing lying?
You didn't make a case against what I said.
I made a prima facie case. As pure a demonstration of motivated bias as can be made. It's right there for all to see. Except you. And you're still doing it.

The quiz highlights the problem with some of the thinking we have in politics.
But also the choices. In US politics it comes down to a binary choice.
It's also worth noting that most of us recognise ourselves in the outcome. Even Faith. It's hard to understand the complaint that she comes out as a republican.
