Faith writes: I see, so I'm NOT allowed to have my beliefs, I have to have yours. No, you are free to have your beliefs. As I said, what you are not free to do is impose your beliefs on anyone who is not a member of your Chapter of Club Christian. You are also not free to assert that your beliefs are Biblical without them being challenged. You are not free to break the law based on your beliefs.

No prosecutions? The Oregon bakery had to close their doors and would have had to pay a huge fine except some nice gays stepped in and took care of the fine.

As I said, no prosecutions without the anti-discrimination laws.
This case is not about a wedding cake or a marriage. It is about a business’s refusal to serve someone because of their sexual orientation. Under Oregon law, that is illegal, Oregon labor commissioner Brad Avakian said in the final order.

The gays were simply doing what Christians are charged to do; help the weak, educate the ignorant, protect the helpless.

Why do you keep asserting the obvious? Not free for this that and the other, yes we know that.; It's because the law says we are not free to follow our Christian conscience that we expect to be punished. What else is new?

Good for them. They were also implying that they know the law is an ass.

We KNOW it's illegal. Why is this being repeated? We know it is illegal and we know if we follow our conscience we will be punished. Good grief, how many times do you have to repeat this?

Again, that is simply not true Faith. You are not free to impose YOUR Chapter of Club Christian's beliefs on those who are not members of your Chapter of Club Christian. The law says absolutely nothing about your beliefs. AbE Simply stop asserting that you represent Christianity. Edited by jar, : see AbE:

The reality is we get punished for obeying God.
I looked up the Colorado case too: Masterpiece cakeshop. They were sued for denying a gay couple a wedding cake and the court decided for the gay couple and they took it to the supreme court. Last news is that the owner of the business decided not to make any more wedding cakes. Is that punishment enough for you?

The law says absolutely nothing about your beliefs. Nor did the law requiring worship of Caesar, nor the one requiring worship of Nebuchadnezzar, nor the law forbidding the translation of Bibles. Why do you keep going on in this utterly idiotic way?

You are perverting what the Bible actually says. What I would want Faith would be Christians that actually reflected what the Bible and Jesus said and did not appear as ignorant, selfish, bigoted, evil racists marketing a picayune little god unworthy of respect or worship.

And if those who suffered for not worshiping Caesar had not been so ignorant of what the Bible actually said then they would not have suffered. Faith the cure for ignorance is knowledge.

I keep repeating the fact that you are complaining more about the anti-discrimination laws than gay marriage because you keep insisting otherwise.
The fact that the case you mentioned as a supposed counter-example is nothing of the sort is certainly something that ought to be mentioned. You may not like being proved wrong but in that case the honest thing to do is to make more effort to get your facts right.
