'Max' is a 1967 Austin Mini Van, freshly imported from Finland, and in my possession for two weeks. All I have done so far is register it, fill the tires, fill the gas tank ($9), put fluid in the windshield washer bottle, and waxed it. Working on the rattles and getting parts (speedo cable broken, new door gaskets, LED lights for better visibility, magnetic signs for side panels, etc). We've already been in a car show here. This one ...
... is a 1967 'innocenti 1001' (Italian version) rescue mini, that I've been working on with my friend Bill (in picture) for 5 years. Should be running soon (repeating mantra) Previously I owned a mini in early 70's in Toronto, until a "friend" totaled it. It was a 1966 Green mini. Next I need a (hopefully used) 6x12 enclosed tool trailer ... for a garage and optional rescue transportation.
