Faith, I see you've seized on something shiny to distract from Republican criminality.
Bump.
Russian-American lobbyist joined Trump’s son’s meeting, tooAn eyewitness says : quote: They received documents of value to their campaign from a foreign national. Slam-dunk violation of the Federal Election Act. Criminal felony. Unless they can impeach Akhmetshin's testimony. And if history is any guide there's more to come. No worries, Faith, It's OK If You're A Republican.

I'm waiting to see further developments. I'm certainly not going to jump on the anti-Trump bandwagon yet.

That's fine. But we will save you a space.
Remember Pence is a bigger loser than Trump and as great a threat to mankind.

Of course. Criminal behavior? Nobody cares! IOIYAR! You wouldn't jump on the anti-Trump bandwagon if he raped and ate a baby at high noon on the Capital steps. You'd label it a liberal lie.
There's no indication of the President's involvement although that could change. But new, relevant, and important information is coming out. Destroying the the "no contact with Russians" lie that so many including Pence, have told. Making you look a fool for saying if there was anything to find it would have been found already. And there's no question of liberal lies; Don Jr. published the damning emails and vouched for their accuracy.

Pence is much more dangerous than Trump. Trump is evil and incompetent. Pence is evil and competent.

Whoops!
I'm surprised I was missed I'll take that as a compliment I can't believe I've been posting here for 12.5 years. A lot has changed in my life in the last year; professionally, personally, spiritually. I'm not in the science business anymore and have moved to the enigineering side. I had a really powerful religious experience. I completely changed my lifestyle to put my own health and fitness first. I got out of a long term relationship. Sobered up. Got a new roommate. Been spending my money increasing my property's value. Life's great and I thank God for that. But I'm still a smart ass who likes to talk shit

The Trump campaign paid a lawyer specializing in defending white-collar crimes $50,000 on June 26. It is rare for a campaign to need such services.
That's approximately the time Kushner's lawyers discovered the infamous Russian meeting. Two weeks before the story broke. Can anyone guess who is now representing Don Jr.? Bueller? Bueller? Must be a coincidence. IOIYAR!

quote: Except, to be perfectly clear, she didn't. The latest claim is that somehow the Clinton campaign was "colluding with the Ukraine." Except they weren't. The entire story is based on a low-level DNC consultant who is Ukrainian-American going to the Ukrainian embassy to discuss the actions of Paul Manafort, a lobbyist with ties to the Russian invasion of the Ukraine. Let us unpack this: 1) The Democratic National Committee is not the Clinton campaign.2) A consultant to the DNC is not an employee of the DNC. 3) The Ukraine is an ally. 4) The Ukraine was invaded by an enemy of the US. 5) A member of the Trump campaign was involved with the invasion of the Ukraine. So not only is this naught but an attempt to distract from the actions of the son of the candidate having a meeting with a Russian hacker in order to receive stolen information, it's all based upon a lie. Which, of course, is what we've come to expect from Faith. As she has already pointed out, she's blaming Clinton for somehow setting Trump, Jr. and Kushner up.Rrhain Thank you for your submission to Science. Your paper was reviewed by a jury of seventh graders so that they could look for balance and to allow them to make up their own minds. We are sorry to say that they found your paper "bogus," specifically describing the section on the laboratory work "boring." We regret that we will be unable to publish your work at this time. I'm not in the science business anymore and have moved to the [engineering] side. I had a really powerful religious experience. Welcome to the side of the angels. Time to do some real work! Under a government which imprisons any unjustly, the true place for a just man is also in prison. Thoreau: Civil Disobedience (1846) History will have to record that the greatest tragedy of this period of social transition was not the strident clamor of the bad people, but the appalling silence of the good people. Martin Luther King I never considered a difference of opinion in politics, in religion, in philosophy, as cause for withdrawing from a friend. Thomas Jefferson Worrying about the "browning of America" is not racism. -- Faith Some of us are worried about just how much damage he will do in his last couple of weeks as president, to make it easier for the NY Times and Washington post to try to destroy Trump's presidency. -- marc9000

The whole subject provides me a lot of amusement.
The party for which I normally vote for in Aussie, the Liberal Party (LP), is considered to be a centre right conservative party. When I vote in SA the party I normally vote for is the Democratic Alliance (DA), which is considered to be on the radical right by the official Government and licensed journalists allowed to report, even though the LP in Oz and the DA in SA have very similar policies on basically everything. Essentially similar to the Conservatives in Britain, the CDU in Germany and the Republicans in France. If I could vote in the US, I don't think I would vote for any one of the mainstream parties. Both of those in the US would be considered to be on the radical right in most of the western world. They both are too right wing for me, anyway.
