Reading around there was no FISA order targeting Trump directly. The order that seems to have been meant was actually directed at two Russian banks.
So, does Trump want us to think that Russian banks were deeply involved in his campaign ?

Why else would they want a switch from subsidies to tax credits ?
So insurance becomes less affordable, the numbers of uninsured rise, hospitals lose out... Remind me, how is this an improvement ?

BBC has the story.
Sounds like there is truth to the idea that the Trump campaign colluded with the Russians. Flynn is also quoted as saying:
"When you get given immunity that means you've probably committed a crime,"
with regard to Clinton aides. I doubt that he'd say that now.

Two points.
First, the fact that other presidents have changed their minds hardly proves that Trumo has not. If someone is claiming that Trump is doing everything he said he would do, providing counterexamples is a valid point. Second this is not a dramatic change in Syria. The Assad regime has used poison gas before, in the early years of this conflict. The situation is not that different - but Trump's position has changed quite significantly.

quote: It seems to me that the earlier gas attacks should have caused a change of position. Apparently they did not.

quote: In that case it is up to those who disagree to refute it rather than trying to play games with the forum rules.
quote: It certainly seemed to be sudden - and quite a reversal of policy, given that the Russians are backing Assad.

quote: So, it doesn't matter to you if Trump was relying on statements known to be false by pretty much anyone who has been paying attention to the conflict ? That is bizarre.
quote: As I remember it they were pretty much as bad as the one that just happened, or worse. Plenty of civilian deaths.

Estimates of the death toll range from at least 281 people[3] to 1,729.[14] The attack was the deadliest use of chemical weapons since the Iran—Iraq War.

And it seems that there is $12 billion worth of deferred maintenance. I guess if Trump remains in office for the next 30,000 years it will be covered.

And it gets worse. Here is what Trump thinks of the system of checks and balances provided by the U.S. Constitution
It’s a very rough system, he said. It’s an archaic system It’s really a bad thing for the country.
The Independent Imagine what the reaction would have been had Obama said that.

Peter Smith is the Republican trying to get Hilary Clinton's emails from an unidentified "Dark Web" source. Matt Tait is a computer security expert consulted by Smith.
The Time I Got Recruited to Collude with the Russians
Smith, however, didn’t seem to care. From his perspective it didn’t matter who had taken the emails, or their motives for doing so. He never expressed to me any discomfort with the possibility that the emails he was seeking were potentially from a Russian front...
The combination of Smith’s deep knowledge of the inner workings of the campaign, this document naming him in the Trump campaign group, and the multiple references to needing to avoid campaign reporting suggested to me that the group was formed with the blessing of the Trump campaign.
The story just didn’t make much sensethat is, until the Journal yesterday published the critical fact that U.S. intelligence has reported that Russian hackers were looking to get emails to Flynn through a cut-out during the Summer of 2016, and this was no idle speculation on my part

Apparently entrepreneurs with at least $250,000 of start-up funding - from reliable sources - aren't the right kind of people.
Ars Technica Very strange for a supposedly right wing administration.

Email 'linked Kremlin to Trump son meeting' - New York Times
Donald Trump Jr was told that material on Hillary Clinton offered by a Russian lawyer was part of a Russian government effort to help his father's election campaign, the New York Times has said.
Jared Kushner and Paul Manafort also attended.
The pattern has been set. The New York Times runs a story, Trump Jr issues his response, then the noose tightens.
First he said the meeting with Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya was about adoption issues. Then the Times reports that Trump Jr thought he would learn damaging information about Hillary Clinton. The presidential son says he was conducting routine opposition research. Then the Times reports that he was told it was the Russian government itself that was coming to his father's aid.

Well the Russian lawyer insists that she didn't offer anything about Hilary Clinton.
The emails are somewhat dodgy - supposedly the information would come from the "Crown Prosecutor" of Russia - a non existent post. But it is clear that the Trump campaign were offered help that supposedly came from the Russian government and were happy to accept.
Donald Trump Jr emails show Russia communication
...Trump Jr wasn't just open to Russian help, he "loved" it.

Even more interesting:
Four days after the first email from Goldstone to Trump Jr about the incriminating information the Russia government was said to have about Mrs Clinton, candidate Trump promised to give a "major speech" the following week discussing "all of the things that have taken place with the Clintons", including Mrs Clinton's alleged misdeeds while serving as secretary of state. ... That speech, originally announced for the Monday after the Trump camp's New York meeting with Veselnitskaya, never took place.

Donald’s Pravda: Trump and his apologists spookily echo Vladimir Putin
I'd say that the opening paragraphs rather obviously apply to the supporters of autocrats, too
For autocrats, angry denial is the first phase of responding to accurate charges against them. "No! Never! A complete fabrication!"
As evidence accumulates, this shifts to feigning ignorance and claiming misunderstanding, along with attempts to distract by slandering the accusers, blaming others for similar sins and discrediting the concept of knowable truth. "I didn't know it was wrong! The media is out to get me! Others have done worse! Who knows what really happened?"

If there is a rally intended to "unite the right", and if it is full of Nazis I think it is pretty clear that anybody joining in is happy to ally with Nazis.
