Even more interesting:
Interesting indeed. At least that jibes with Jr's claim that they didn't get any dirt. However, it is pretty obvious Don Sr. knew about the meeting which he then later lied about when he said no one was meeting with the Russians. Trumps reflexive need to cover up everything is what is driving this entire scandal.
John Oliver's description of the scandal as "Stupid Watergate" is my favorite because it sums it up rather neatly. It is their stupidity in covering up a crime that never happened that will lead them to committing actual crimes, like obstruction of justice.

Except Trump, Jr. just admitted to the crime. It is a violation of the FEC to accept "anything of value" from a foreign source with regard to the campaign:
That is a bit of a stretch, and I suspect it won't be pursued in court.

ABC, NBC, and CBS are all reporting that Scaramucci is out as the White House Communications Director.
Axios is reporting that it was the new chief of staff, Kelly, that called for his resignation. There may be hope for Kelly yet.

You know, if I squint hard enough, I could see conservatives saying, "Well, Clinton woulda been worse."
What I absolutely cannot fathom is the large number of supporters who can still look at this Administration and say, "Yeah, that's the President I want!"
Perhaps the only way to convince the Tea Party/Trump crowd that their movement can't govern and that their policies won't work is to put them into power and watch the ensuing chaos. What we are seeing is what happens when a political party is simply an opposition party and nothing else. When they are asked to come up with their own ideas everyone can finally observe that they are intellectually bankrupt.

Really? Is that where the complaints have been coming from. Low-income and minority workers are complaining that they cannot get $8.50 per hour jobs cleaning hotel rooms? Surely not.
In fact, they are so hard to get that they don't even try to apply for them, forcing the Don to hire immigrant workers.
quote:
Trump is looking to hire 78 servers, housekeepers, and cooks for his Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach and the nearby Trump National Golf Club in Jupiter, according to Federal labor records.
As he has for years, the Republican presidential nominee filed this month to import foreign workers for the jobs instead of hiring Americans, Buzzfeed News first reported Wednesday.
Department of Labor records show Trump has sought H-2 visas for hundreds of foreigners to fill temporary positions at the two properties in recent years.

What this means then, is no matter how much the EPA strips U.S. citizens of their liberty and money, climate change will continue, and those government officials and scientists who made those decisions will face no accountability for their actions.
Scientists didn't decide that carbon dioxide is a greenhouse gas. You might as well say that scientists are all keeping us down because they decided that gravity is an attractive force.
Also, do you feel like your liberties have been taken away because you can't buy leaded gasoline at the pump? I mean, c'mon.

This is just another example of the pot calling the kettle black. Obama regularly filled bowls for 8 years, and his base winked and nodded the whole time.
Did Obama start a name-calling war with N. Korea? Nope. Did Obama think that he had been responsible for a nuclear weapon buildup in his first 6 months in office? Nope. Did Obama think that health insurance costs $12 a month? Nope. Did Obama brag about grabbing women's pussies without their consent? Nope. Did Obama say that he had the largest electoral victory since Reagan? Nope.
I could keep going, if you want.

Did Trump? Do you believe that the current problem we have with Kim Jong Un is Trump's fault?
Yes, Trump did start this really stupid and counterproductive chest beating nonsense.
The one thing that Trump can do to help prop up the dictatorship in N. Korea is to create the appearance that the US is going to attack them. The whole government in NK is built on the assumption that they have to pour everything they have into the military because they could be attacked at any moment, and Trump is doing everything he can to support that narrative. The more Trump acts like a bully, the more tightly they will cling to their nukes.
It's too bad that about 1/3 of the U.S. population, and about 90% of the press, HOPE that a military confrontation happens now with North Korea, if it provides them with a path to try to get Trump removed from office. That's the whole idea, the whole plan, they would sacrifice part of the U.S. to a nuclear attack, they would sacrifice any number of things that would be good for the U.S., if it would provide them with a way to get Trump out.
Seriously?
People are criticizing Trump because they don't want a war.

A bit of both, I suppose. There is a point of principle: If you have 10 people and 1 nazi shows up, you do not, actually, have 11 nazis.
The ratio was probably closer to 10 Nazi's to 1 purposefully ignorant. When you see a large portion of the group marching around with torches chanting "Blood and Soil", it's hard to believe that the crowd is made up of people who innocently want to see a statue kept in a park, a statue that they don't know was put there by racists in the first place.
