In two of those cases there were initial reports of a second shooter, at Connecticut and at Aurora. Anybody wonder why those second parties disappeared from the news?

wouldn't there be reports correcting the previous reports of another shooter and explaining the error?
I don't recall a mass shooting that wasn't eventually followed by a news conference where law enforcement laid out what they knew about the incident, including the number of shooters, perhaps you just weren't watching. Edited by DrJones*, : No reason given.

You don't have to be Christian to have a moral culture, but ours WAS Christian and losing it means losing OUR moral culture.
Well that doesn't make sense Faith. If we can be a moral culture without being a Christian culture then losing our alleged Christian culture does not mean that we are automatically losing our moral culture.

Gun nuts, they just like bangs because they're simple like that I guess,
Gun nuts also like their hearing, using suppressors help to protect against hearing problems.
New silencer technology. Finding new ways to make guns almost completely silent would become an overnight goldmine. A whole new world for shooters to break the law right under the noses of those passionate to stop them. Seeing as suppressors are legal to own in 41 of the 50 states and you have the military and law enforcement markets, there is already a massive incentive to produce better suppressors.
If the second amendment is repealed, and something similar to this became a reality, who would be to blame?
The people breaking the law, you're not big on personal responsibility are you?

Probably that the shooting was accidental, the kid didn't intend to shoot his mother. How he got access to the gun is criminal.

In the real world, why do you think silencers are banned? Do you think our legislators are out to ruin the hearing of hunters?
if American gun laws are anything like Canadian gun laws, then they probably weren't written by people who know all that much about firearms. Suppressors/silencers aren't banned in the whole of the US.

We don't get the murderers to write our laws on murder either
that's a false comparison. My point was that the ones writing the laws might not be all the educated on the subject of the law. Like if I, a non-doctor, was involved in a bill that that banned certain medical practices.
