Re: Forum Guidelines
Let me give you another perspective from myself as a member rather than an administrator. Here at EvC we have two basic discussion lines of argument/persuasion. Science, which requires evidence.(and not the Bible as evidence either) or Faith/Belief in which you can assert anything you want, but must provide a clue to your reasoning.
As I review your links, I have some questions.
You started a thread at Religion Wiki. At-a-glance/The Flood2. I am taking the time to read your links...which is actually not expected from our members. Lets say you were a famous author. You arrive at a college for a Q&A Lecture. Are you simply going to encourage the audience to read your book or will you take the time to explain yourself during your lecture? Do you see my point?
Anyway, at this link, you seem to be conflating evidence as directly from the Bible. For purposes of discussion, the Bible is not sufficient in and of itself to be a source of evidence. In this article, you also begin your narrative with basic assertions.
Wiki writes:
There is geological and paleontological evidence that Earth rotated faster and that the Moon was closer to Earth in the remote past. Tidal rhythmites are alternating layers of sand and silt laid down offshore from estuaries having great tidal flows. Daily, monthly and seasonal cycles can be found in the deposits. This geological record indicates that 620 million years ago there were 4007 solar days/year.
Yet I can't find links to your evidence.

Chance as a real force is a myth. It has no basis in reality and no place in scientific inquiry. For science and philosophy to continue to advance in knowledge, chance must be demythologized once and for all. —RC Sproul
"A lie can travel half way around the world while the truth is putting on its shoes." —Mark Twain "

Paul was probably SO soaked in prayer nobody else has ever equaled him.~Faith
