All this reminds me of are the "types" of inspiration the Bible writers got from Spooks. This was when I did Biblical studies at Uni. Mechanical, Partial and Plenary Inspiration...The lecturers were Calvinists and the Catholics were supposedly devil posessed. They didn't even recognise that Muslims could also be religious. .
