So called "Biblical Christians" have always suffered under the delusion that there is such a thing as "The Bible". It's simply another example of their willful ignorance.

Not just childhood but a continuing cult of indoctrination and brain washing. They have their own alternate universe, their own TV channels, Radio Stations and particular chapters of Club Christian restrict their members to those media channels. They have browsers and search engines that filter the results returned and limit access to conflicting data.They have their own schools and colleges and text books and even their own accrediting boards.It's an amazing example of life long isolation and insulation; willful ignorance writ large.It is not all Christianity though. I was raised in a Christian household and educated in a Christian School.

And after all, Jesus was a Jew not a Christian anyway; born a Jew, lived as a Jew, died as a jew.

Well since Jesus was a Jew and Roman Catholics are Christians and the Bible is a bunch of Jewish and Christian stories I'm not sure why anyone would think any compromise was needed.

I'm not sure anyone could actually argue that Mormons are not Judeo-Christian but certainly they could make that assertion.To argue that position you would need evidence.

But one position can be supported by reality and evidence while there is no evidence of a war between ideologies, absolute truth vs relativism, good vs evil.

Yes, I am absolutely sure.Good and evil are human creations and neither good nor evil actually exists except as human terms.There is no evidence that "absolute truth" even exists. Things can be absolutely tru and it is absolutely true that "absolute truth" does not exist.

Exactly. Humans decide that the Nazis are evil for killing a few million people and that the Biblical God is not evil even when it wipes out almost all living life on the planet.Now compared to the God of Genesis 6&7 Hitler was a ruddy saint.Have you ever read the Bible Faith? The great gift found in Genesis 2&3 was the human ability to determine good and evil. Neither "GOOD" or "EVIL" exist except within the context of human standards and those standards are neither consistent or uniformly applied.

And, of course, no nation has been as effective as the United States when it comes to genocide. But that was OUR Genocides and so not evil and in fact Manifest Destiny.
