Scientists agree. The question is: Why do creationists want to call creationism science?

To balance the current atheism that is in science.
If science is so riddled with atheism, I would think you'd want to divorce yourself from science as much as possible. Yet organizations like AiG seem to want their followers to think they have the Real Science. Why not just stick with The Truth?

I still believe the bible is absolutely true. I have changed my interpretation to fit evidence that is impossible to get around however.
A changing "absolute" is a good start.

and what would be your responce if the evidence showed that you must crash your head against the nearest wall? (LOL)
What would that evidence look like?
We have evidence of what happens when people do bang their heads, either accidentally or on purpose. The evidence suggests that banging your head is generally not a good thing. So what evidence could indicate that it's a good thing?

Jumping off of a bridge is analogous to a Leap Of Faith. Perhaps after observation of the behavior of others, you concluded early on in life that faith was not a good trait to possess.
Do you mean there's somebody who hasn't observed that jumping off a bridge is a bad idea?

You likely would stand firm until you had evidence.
Evidence of what? That jumping off a bridge is a good idea?

No, that a Leap of faith is a good idea. You evidently concluded that it was not, hence you never took the leap.
A leap of faith would be jumping off the bridge without knowing how deep the water is. If you're honest, you wouldn't do it either. Your whole leap-of-faith analogy is just a copout.

Or maybe there's a straw in the water that you could grasp to break your fall.
