Re: Trump retweets islamophobic videos from British Far right group
Actually the US is safer with him as President than we would be if he was removed from the office.

The silly Jerusalem gambit.
The funny thing is that historically Jerusalem was NEVER the capital of Israel. Even during the period of consolidated Kingship Israel and Judah were still independent Nation States much like England & Scotland under James I & VI.
Jerusalem was the capital of Judah.

Bad trades.
Trading and inept clown for Pence or Ryan does not look like a wise move.
Let's keep Trump as President and simply ignore what he says.

Re: Accusers Call for Congressional Investigation
And once you give away the National Lands it is nearly impossible to get them back. You can't undo rape and that is what is happening today in the US.

George Carlin was wrong
Well, it's finally official; George Carlin did not know what the Seven Forbidden Words were!
This has to be a new triumph of COMEDY!
quote:
The forbidden words are vulnerable, entitlement, diversity, transgender, fetus, evidence-based and science-based.
George; I bet you're sorry you did not stick around to see this routine!

Re: Trump will personally save up to $15m under tax bill, analysis finds
But wait; there's more.
The Corporate Tax portions were made permanent. They cannot be undone by a future Congress without great difficulty.

When the Ambassador to a Nation is shown to be a liar, why should that Nation place any value in anything the Ambassador, or the Ambassador's boss says?

Re: Bannon and Trump Have a Falling Out
The answer is the old 6s & 9s propositions.
A 6s manager only hires those who do not threaten his job or authority; the 9s manager only hires those who do threaten his position or authority. The 6s manager's primary function is to maintain his position. The 9s manager's primary function is to find a replacement for what he is doing so that he can move on to a more challenging task.

Re: We Know Trump's an Idiot
Percy writes:
What does it mean for us if 30-40% of the country has no problem with someone as obviously unfit for office as Trump? He's a great performer in front of crowds, and he's mastered the art of playground insult and figured out how to apply it effectively in adult interactions. And he's caused many to stoop to his level, not because he's caused them to lose their cool, but because playground adjectives are the only ones that accurately apply to someone so dismally unqualified to be an adult, let alone president of the most powerful (economically and militarily) country in the world.
It is just history repeating.
Benito Mussolini was totally incompetent, always screwing up.
Adolph Hitler was a nutjob that the capitalists would be able to control.
Joseph Stalin was a hick from the backwoods and would be easy to manipulate.
What it means is that as a nation we do a really shitty job of teaching people how to think and in particular, US Conservative Christianity is based on checking your brain at the door and utter subservience in even the most obvious absurdities.

And by the way, how did the capitalists control Hitler? Im curious....
The result is pretty clear. Most of the companies made money. They built and supplied and a great time was had by all. Well, all the capitalists.

Re: Jeff Session cranks up war on drugs.

In fact, I would suggest that the most important and lasting impact of the Trump administration is going to be the appointment of federal judges that the Republican Senate refused to allow Obama to appoint.
And that is exactly what is happening with even the most absolutely incompetent candidates being rapidly and quietly approved. The harm has already been done and is unlikely to be reversed for many, many decades.

What folk need to remember is that politically Barry was closer to Hubert than to Ronald.
