I think that basically agrees with what I said.
not really, the obama era kids in cages were unaccompanied minors, kids caught trying to cross on their own. under obama kids were detained with their parents, until a court ruling prevented it, at that time they started releasing families under orders to appear at a later immigration hearing.

Resign under pressure from major republicans with the understanding of a full pardon from ... ech, gag ... President Pence?
Pence might get caught up in this too, foreign agent Flynn was his choice. But even if Pence gets taken down i don't see how this ends up without a republican in the white house. If it looks like both Trump and Pence are going down (a long shot to be sure) I suspect you'll have Pence resign to put a "clean" republican in the VP slot who is then free to assume the presidency when Trump goes away.

given that there hasn't been an indictment since Stone I don't have my hopes up that this will deliver a killing blow to rump's presidency. My thinking is that if Mueller had anything substantial on the cheeto in chief but was following the DoJ's policy of "sitting presidents can't be indicted" that kush or one of the boys would have received indictments before the report was completed.
