All except you... Your own words deny that. LGBGT, Muslims, Catholics - to name but a few billion 'neighbours' That's certainly true. But then nothing does.

I know it's hopeless to keep trying to correct this stuff, but one more time: I am NEVER denouncing PERSONS, EVER, only ideologies, philosophies, principles etc. I am not talking about immigrants but ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION, not about LGBTS but about GAY MARRIAGE, not about Muslims but about JIHADI ISLAM, etc etc etc etc etc.

If your attitude and treatment of these people is the same as people who hate them, then what does it matter whether you acknowledge your own feelings as hate or not. The consequence of your faith seems to be bad works. This would argue that your faith is not in God but in some other entity. You're just declaring these things evil and singling out these people for Christian persecution.By the way, no one is advocating illegal immigration, but the Trump administration has made fleeing death and destitution illegal, and you seem to be in favor of this Trump policy. I assume you're also in favor of Trump's recent proposal to reduce the refugee quota to 30,000, the lowest since the program began in 1980. You probably would also have been in favor of the restrictions against Jewish immigration in the years leading up to WWII, a policy even more shameful than the gathering of Japanese Americans into concentration camps during WWII. We could have allowed millions of Jews into this country from Germany and Poland and Ukraine, but we turned a deaf ear to their pleas for asylum, just as Trump turns a deaf ear toward the plight of desperate Central Americans today. You want to impose on these people what you think is best for them instead of providing sanctuary to the desperate and allowing all the freedom to make their own decisions and have the same rights as everyone else.--Percy

You're just pretending to yourself that this isn't about people. But you're in favor of making illegal as much immigration as possible. And about the bathrooms they use and the apartments they rent and the cakes they buy. You apply your religious bigotry to all followers of Islam. You call it a murderous religion. It's because I'm a skeptic.I'm skeptical of the message and the messenger. I have tested the message against the evidence and yes, helping people is good for everybody. I have also tested the messenger against the evidence and found little reason to put any importance on him. He did figure out the message but so did almost everybody else. Unfortunately, his self-proclaimed "followers" are often more of a hindrance than a help in implementing the message.

Phat quoted a commentator. The Bible disagrees. Matthew 25 makes it clear that the yardstick by which God's grace operates is the way you treat other people. Faith does not mean mouthing, "Lord! Lord!" It means feeding the hungry, etc.

Got Questions stated the Reformation doctrine quite clearly. Feeding the hungry is a necessity but it doesn't save you.

The Bible is equally clear and it disagrees. Neither does saying, "Lord! Lord!" God's grace is a whim and feeding the hungry is the yardstick that He uses.

You are history-challenged, to put it nicely.

It's ironic that you claim to be a Bible believer and yet you throw the Bible out the window in favour of Christian history.
