quote: That is rather questionable. Carlson was badgering him at that point and obviously trying to get him to say that, and he obviously preferred peaceful protest.. And let us remember that he is explicitly talking about people who want to eliminate a large proportion of the population. To what extent would Jews have the right to resist another Hitler ?(To be honest I think that Mossad would assassinate a second Hitler if he looked like getting anywhere.) quote: THAT is certainly NOT in the interview. He was clearly talking about violent extremists. Richard Spencer is not perfectly innocent. If he isn’t an actual Nazi he’s too damn close.
quote: Which rather obviously has nothing to do with what he said. Why is that Faith . Why do you have to invent these things ?

And it seems to be largely due to the local residents, not the migrants.
...about 300 local residents gathered by the encampment to demand the migrants leave the upscale Playas de Tijuana neighborhood and go to the facility.
After midnight, residents assaulted journalists, injuring at least three, according to reporters on the scene
By 8:30 p.m., hundreds of residents and migrants had congregated by the beach, with local residents demanding the immigrants leave the public space at the beach.

BBC
Cue howls of outrage from the usual suspects.

quote: Because following the law is wacko At least now we know for sure what you mean by a fair trial.

quote: By which you mean judges who make decisions you don’t like. The actual law doesn’t matter to you.
quote: By which you mean any hint of disagreeing with Trump’s opinions. The fact remains that Acosta’s credentials were arbitrarily taken away on extremely dubious grounds and the government doesn’t have the right to do that. Due process is required.

quote: Because obviously nobody should notice that you are attacking the decision without any understanding of the law or the reasoning behind it.
quote: If that is true then let’s see the legal analysis which demonstrates it.
quote: The White House doesn’t seem to think that’s good enough. That’s why they went with the assault argument - which didn’t hold water.
quote: In other words he dared to question Trump’s opinion.

quote: There are plenty of reports. Even if you can’t see every detail there’s nothing obviously wrong in what has been said. And the Judge was obviously not happy with the White House being unable to say who made the decision - and the changing story about the reason for it can’t have helped.
quote: Which means that your attacks on the judge were baseless and made without any real concern for the law. Just as I said. You really have to stop behaving badly and then whining and lying when caught at it. As is your habit,
quote: You mean what is the point in backing up your assertions here? It should be obvious. And of course the reason I challenged you to do so is obvious. If knew you couldn’t do it. I knew that you were at your usual trick of slandering someone who said something you didn’t like. And I was right. You can’t even stop when you’ve obviously been caught.
quote: And there you go again.
quote: I think Trumps opinions - and his lies - should be challenged more.

quote: Which is so normal it should be expected, given that the White House can’t - or won’t even identify who made the decision and seems uncertain on the reasons for it.
quote: Other news agencies seem to have done rather better. And let us note that Levin does not say that this is special to this case.
quote: The court expressly mentioned that there was no requirement to call on Acosta - and I very much doubt that it suggested that there was a Constitutional requirement to call Press Conferences. Not that Levin would know.
quote: In other words the judge is tyrannically denying the Executive’s rights to trample the Constitution. It’s pretty easy to see who wants tyranny.
quote: Aside from being outraged that Trump should be under investigation is there a point there ?
quote: Recounts are normal in close contests, not an effort to change results. Republicans call for them too.
quote: If anyone doubted that Levin was unhinged this pretty much proves it.

quote: Funny that nothing of the sort is in your quote. So far as I know it’s normal for that court. Also it’s sort of odd that he knows less than all the other people who’ve covered it in the press.
quote: What a surprise to find him making baseless attacks on a conservative judge following the law then! Or not. There has to be some reason you like him.

The report about she hit me first came from a gossip site (TMZ) and also claimed that the woman was Avenatti’s wife. Avenatti’s wife denies it. It all comes down to the reliability of TMZ’s law enforcement sources and whether they were reporting something they had actually seen or just gossip - and I think that the odds must be on the latter.

The other reports all seem to be repeating what TMZ said. So it comes down to the reliability of TMZ and it’s sources. Which doesn’t seem that great to me. Maybe it is true, maybe it isn’t. There’s no way to be sure.

I am not *assuming* that TMZ was the original source. TMZ claims to have gotten the information direct from their sources, other reports credit TMZ - or nobody. My position is based on those facts.

Today News seems to be a YouTube channel. Given the lack of official information from LAPD I have my doubts about their confirmation.

The Daily Mail is hardly a great source. But given the way Wohl messed up the smear campaign against Mueller I doubt he has the competence to pull this off.

At present there’s no request to extradite Assange. The UK government can freely agree not to act on imaginary requests. I doubt that they’ve promised anything more.
