If we ignore Danny boy will he just go away (a good thing?) or is the comedic value worth suffering through the obvious psychosis? Besides, I have my doubts someone could be this damaged and still operate through life for very long so I suspect his sincerity along with his sanity. Still, he is, in a mind-numbingly demented way, somewhat entertaining.
So in this case ... fun or sanity. We get to choose one.

Am I a bad person if some of the things he writes evokes a spontaneous laugh?
Not at all.
Laughter is healthy for you. It raises muscle tension and blood pressure (in a good exercise kinda way) and, like exercise, makes us feel better about ourselves, improves self image, attitude.
Taking advantage of every opportunity to guffaw at crazy is both healthy and intellectually satisfying.
The down side is feeling a twinge of somewhat sorry for the poor sob having to go through life with such a mental handicap. But just a small twinge. Nothing too strong here. Not enough to not make fun of him.
Maybe we're both bad people?

Re: Angelic Musings
To me, he seems like a 14-year-old with an active imagination who craves attention.
You may be right.
But, since I'm here let me use this post of yours to throw out yet another off the wall thought.
Remember how many times over the years (decades?) so many people had said this site was doomed and was soon to dry up and blow into the oblivion of Internet fora past? And yet here we still be.
We have smart people, crazy people, jokesters, serious intellects, demented fools, all with a wide breadth of opinion, fantasy and humor.
This place takes a lot of work to maintain, police and keep right. The moderation team (that's you and yours, Phat) are key to keeping this place viable and such a frustrating, maddening, satisfying, discussion forum.
Percy should feel quite proud of what he created.
Thanksgiving (for the USA) is tomorrow and one of the small things I am thankful for is this site.
