They're fake. If you're getting messages from a Ouija board, it's because your friends are putting you on.

neither. It's bunk.
People move the pointer thrugh their own belife. They want it to be true so they subconsiously make the pointer move. This has been proven by experiments where the subjects were asked to play the game for a while.
The subjects were convinced of it being supernatural. They were then blindfolded and asked to play the game. Except that the testers secretly removed the board. Guess what?
The subjects pointer moved to where they "thought" the letters should be.
Neat huh?

You must have misread. There's no contradiction. We both agreed they were fake. What's the problem?

I think the answer is relative to the mindset and circumstances. Testing won't work, the same as you can't photograph a ghost/spirit.
Scripture says you will serve whomever you yield yourselves to obey. Satan and his kingdom use these things when they can with folks who yield themselves to them. The more you delve into the evil spirit world, the more it will control you. It works that way with the good also. You yield yourself to the true God and the true God will bless and influence your life for the good. I walk under ladders, disregard black cats running across the road, and consider #13 as any other number without fear, but if I fear them and yield to them, I believe they could work against me via evil spirits/demons.
I believe the boards have an evil connotation and have nothing to do with them, as I would not mess with black magic or any such thing.

At the very least, yeilding to that fear would entail it's own negative consequences. Is it ok for me to agree with you for entirely different reasons?

I don't think you can channel spirits through a $20 mass produced piece of cardboard and plastic. They are completely and utterly fake.
Its one thing to think that God disapproves of withcraft such as Ouiji boards. Its quite another thing to think that they work.

Strange that Buzsaw is afraid of ouija boards but not of walking under ladders. Ever wear a bucket of paint?
The reason you can't photograph a ghost is because there ain't no such thing. Same with the 'spirits' you 'surrender yourself' to when you use a ouija board.
Watch where you walk, but don't be afraid of a silly toy.
