I posted this here because I don't intend this to be a serious, or long topic. This is just a quick observation about YEC arguments that I would like to make.
I think it's funny how Yec's to so easely say things like C14 decay hasn't remained reletively constant, or techtonic movement, erosion, genetic diversification, etc. They will gladly assume nature slamed on the breaks and shifted gears rapidly and without warning, and yet, when it suits their means they will asume the oposite.
Here is an examples:
They will say that the grand canyon was formed in the flood, as well as everest, etc. Due to amazing techtonic activity. When we site no evidence for the plates to shift so suddenly, they say "how do you know they didn't move faster back then, you weren't there!".
Yet, when it comes to peoples current population after the great "wipe-out", they say "If it weren't for the flood, the world would be so overpopulated, it would be unlivable".
Of cource, they are assuming, human reproduction/death rates stayed constant since the days of Noah.
Just something I found a bit humerous.
