Weekly World News cracks me up...
Note, my heading is misleading since Cremo argues for Vedhic creationism and this is about Adam and the Ark---or is that ants?...

Last I heard of Cremo, The Learning Channel had temporarily acquired him as their "Dawn of Man" expert.
This is entirely consistent, of course, with their seemingly bi-monthly "Alien Invasion Week" but they seem to be sliding down the hill at an accelerating rate.
The last time I mentioned the WWN instance to a Creationist using Cremo, his response was: "One bad reference and the whole book gets thrown out." I suggested he try something like that with a peer-reviewed journal.

LOL--the rest of the references aren't very good either. The rationale is so funny too--well it is a report....
The editor of the WWN one time was asked if the stories were true and his reply was,
"Well, they are real reports of what people claim." And smiled.
Cremo was actually in St. Louis "lecturing" at the local Hare Krishna restaurant not all that long ago. I wanted to go, but it was right around my wedding and I didn't get a chance. I've heard the food is good to, so maybe he'll make another visit.
