One of the benefits of being on our own server is that we now have reliable access to site statistics. Here they are for the last four months of 2005. September was a partial month.
Don't bother clicking to enlarge, it's already at full size. The numbers on the side corresond to the value at the top of the highest bar.

Site Statistics for January, 2006
January might have been a record month, but there's no way to be sure since no statistics are available from before September, 2005.

Site Statistics for February, 2006
Activity was down slightly during February. It was actually about the same as January, with the decline mostly due to the shorter month:

Interesting Factoid
All by itself, Google indexing has used more than 20% of EvC Forum's bandwidth so far this month.

Maybe the growth in evcforum activity is really just the growth in the number of search engines.
On a web sight I maintain, I check lookups of "robots.txt", and assume all sites reading that are search engines. I exclude lookups from such search engines in the statistics summary.

Re: Site Statistics for February, 2006
How about a little explanation of what is meant by "Pages", "Files", "Hits", "Visits", "Sites", and "kBytes"?
Adminnemooseus
Added by edit: An what exactly is the definition of "bandwidth"?

Definitions
Here's a webpage with the definitions:
Bandwidth isn't mentioned, but in the context of webhosting companies bandwidth is the amount of gigabytes (billions of bytes) of data a webhost is permitted to send per month. The bandwidth for EvC Forum is 100 gigabytes per month, though the most we've ever used is around 55. A webhost is a computer that performs all the work for the websites it hosts.
Indexing also isn't mentioned on that webpage. Search engine companies like Google systematically comb most of the websites on the Internet indexing their pages. In order to perform this indexing it visits each page at a website, and it follows all the links on each webpage, skipping any repeats.

Site Statistics for April, 2006
Even taking the one less day into account, April was down slightly from March. Still, it was our second busiest month since moving to the new server:

Site Statistics for May, 2006
Activity level was about the same as April, though bandwidth hit an all-time high. The 24-hours of down time during the release of dBoard 2.0 was a slight factor:

Country Stats for 1st week of July, 2006
Thought some might find this list of accesses by country for the first week of July interesting. My guess is that "US Commercial" is .com, "Network" is .net, "US Educational" is .edu, and the various countries are .uk and so forth.

Site Statistics for July, 2006
Activity level declined slightly during July, which is expected for a summer vacation month. Interestingly, both files and pages have been on a steady decline since March, but visits, sites and bandwidth (KBtyes in the chart) have held roughly constant.

Site Statistics for August, 2006
Activity continued the summer decline during August, though bandwidth remained high. Activity picked up considerably during the last week, consistent with what we usually see as students begin returning to school.
