I recently came across this statement by the council of europe about creationism. I don't know if this has been posted before, and if it was then sorry.
I found it a good read, it's very condemning of creatism.

Wow, that is surprisingly straightforward and readable for a document drafted by a political committee. Good stuff.

We have many intuitions in our life and the point is that many of these intuitions are wrong. The question is, are we going to test those intuitions?
