Could anyone think of a situation where the education could be deceitful?
Any help would be appreciated

Christian Cult of Ignorance avoidance schools
Some great examples are all the text books sold by A Beka Books and any schools or home schoolers using such material.

Anyone so limited that they can only spell a word one way is severely handicapped!

nima asks:
Could anyone think of a situation where the education could be deceitful?
It would be more difficult to find an education that is not deceitful, wouldn't it?
Seems all educational systems from pre-school to Ph.D. have some kind of nod to the cultural environment they come from and therefore contain a non-zero bias, however small, that deceives.

First off, thank you so much.
However, as I am learning English, I failed to get what is the concept of the sentence above, especially the highlight part. So, would you please in a more readily way explain that? Many thanks
Cheers,
nima

Could anyone think of a situation where the education could be deceitful?
... if the things being taught are known to be false?
Obviously.
Perhaps you should ask a more precise question.

WordReference Forums
Hello nima,
Did you check out the links I gave you in your other thread?
We have a lot of helpful people around here. And by no means is English the first language of all of our members. But I'm not sure EvC is the best place to learn English. Unless you specify, folks here won't assume you're asking a language-use question and you're probably not gonna get the kind of help you're looking for.
I really do suggest you try the WordReference Forums. Your questions would be answered almost instantly, and because everyone's native language and location is listed by their username, you will know which answers are most relevant to the style of English you wish to learn (American, British, Canadian, etc.).
Whatever you choose, best of luck on your language-learning adventure!

Love your enemies!

Basically xongsmith is saying that all textbooks are biased by the writer, due to their personal and cultural biases, and thus there are different levels of deceit in them.
A good approach is to question everything and have an open mind.
