This article is making rounds of the right wing deniers.
New Climate Paper Gives Global Warming Alarmists 'One Helluva Beating'
As it come from Breitbart I give it no credence. Here is a link to the paper that are referencing.
http://journals.ametsoc.org/...abs/10.1175/JCLI-D-14-00656.1
Anyone here have the knowledge to make an opinion on whether anything breitbart claims has any credence?

too bad
It's too bad that propaganda has no effect on reality.

Anyone so limited that they can only spell a word one way is severely handicapped!

The original paper is described as:
The paper — "Rethinking the lower bound on aerosol radiative forcing" by Bjorn Stevens of the Max Planck Institute for Meteorology in Hamburg, Germany, published in the American Meteorological Society journal...
The Max Planck Institute has done some absolutely groundbreaking research in ancient DNA sequencing, particularly with Neanderthals. In that area, at least, they have a very good reputation.

Making Matters Worse...
That's a shame.
Without the particulates to help keep us cool, we'll just have to reduce our contribution to climate change even more.
And I was hoping to drive my car in circles until the planet's oil was all gone.

Love your enemies!

I think non-expert means all of the regular participants to these fora. If there is a climate expert out there who can tell us what to make of this report, he's a lurker.
Regarding the headline of the article (as opposed to the title of the paper)? I'd suggest that a quick visit to the Breitbart site should add some perspective on that question.

I saw someone else talking about the paper, thought I'd share:

A dear friend of mine, Anke Schlesier, did some work over in the Atmospheric Sciences building next door to our radar station before returning to Germany and hooking up with the Max Planck Institute.
She was one of our best croquet players.

If you have nothing to add please do not post. The paper is behind a paywall. Also, I do not have the expertise to determine what I asked. That is why I asked for assistance. As you have nothing to contribute please quit posting posts that are a waste of pixels.

Nic Lewis and his ideas have been debunked numerous times. He is a retired financier and has a degree in math. Everything he says must be taken with a huge grain of salt.
