Thanks to newer technology and additional fossil finds we now have yet more evidence of the relationship between humans and the other apes (particularly chimpanzees) and the transitional nature of the early hominids.

It seems that for at least two species that lived over a million years ago (Yes Virginia, the Earth is many many millions of years old) had hearing that would have been far more like a modern Chimpanzee than a modern Human but that the range of frequencies was shifted slightly towards the range of modern humans.


Anyone so limited that they can only spell a word one way is severely handicapped!
