Today at Slashdot.org this was published:
The Eye: Evolution versus Creationism
Science
Posted by Hemos on Monday November 01, @11:27AM
from the this-should-be-a-pleasant-server-test dept.
Sox2 writes "SciScoop is running a story about researchers in Germany who claim to have solved the "mystery" surrounding the evolution of the mamalian eye. The work, published in Science, goes some way to answering the issues raised in the "intelligent design" debate that has become the mainstay of creationist thinking."
That post has generated over 1200 comments today. While I obviously havn't read through all of them, all of the ones I've read scrolling down the list are comments from evolutionists, many claiming creationism as being "dangerous". I'm starting this topic for all of you to voice your opinion on the topic of the evolution of the human eye. Does the report help support the evolution argument? Any other information on this topic is welcome, so please, contribute!

The topic has been done before - Rejected, closed 4/26/05
Before we promote this new cut at this old topic perhaps you'd like to read over what has been said already. You could add to an existing thread.
Use the search function for 'eye' 'evolution' in the Intelligent design forum or the biological evolution forum.
If you still want to promote this then post a message to that effect.
Thanks.
