C&E United
I would like to debate the proposition that creation and evolution are two concepts of an inseparable reality. I will argue that, whilst it is important to recognize the essential role of every iota, it is vitally important to understand and demonstrate the function of creation and evolution. I will argue that human intelligence has evolved for that purpose; that we are at one with the cosmos; and in knowing that, is what sets us free.

Hello Malachi,
The first post in a thread is where the originator puts forward their argument. Unfortunately, for yourself, this is not promotable at the moment since this is just an introduction to an argument and there is nothing to debate here.
By all means keep that paragraph, but if you'd be so kind, include something of your actual argument that might inspire somebody to join in the debate. Also, you may want to consider a more descriptive title, I can't think of one because I don't know your argument yet.

Greetings AdminModulous.
I won't keep the paragraph, simply because my thoughts are too incoherent to proceed. However, I did have one more message for Wepwawet, by way of an apology relating to the closed thread, and would like to know where and if I can post it.
Thanks.

Good question
If you want to post an apology, and feel it is necessary to do so, it might be sufficient to open a coffee house thread to do it, if Wepwawet and yourself want to continue the discussion as a result of it then you can propose a new topic/great debate. However, if the Wepwawet simply accepts the apology we could close the coffee house thread down and the matter is neatly resolved.
Other Admins might have better solutions, but for the moment I think that should suffice.

Re: Good question
Thank you for that. The apology was intended more from politeness. I'll cover it by reference in another posting.
