Rrhain for surgery
Message 27
Rrhain wields a sharp scalpel yet again.
NJ's argument is left bleeding on the floor. Rrhain supports each item of his argument and makes it clear that NJ hasn't been reading. He leaves it very clear what NJ must answer to if the position of NJ is to be supported.
Generally, of course, these surgical strikes are not answered. But they are fun to watch.

This message is a nice, neat summation of just how shockingly vacuous Dembski's specified complexity is. It's succinct, to the point, well referenced and witty without being uncivil, which is usually the best way to get one's argument across. Kudos.

Starts with:
And, despite all the possible misgivings, radiometric dating actually works!
And goes on from there.
RAZD presents the technical data, but Chiroptera fits radiometric dating into the big picture, in easily readable text.

Coyote --- competing with RAZD?
Message 56
This is the kind of detailed precise work I expect from RAZD. It is definitive, clear, concise and offers examples of what is wrong with YECism. Those who think that the likes of Ham are not liars should consider this carefully.

Coyotes conclusion permitted the escape route of 'sloppy'. Not that that would be a lifeline if the context of the work was 'doing science'
Seconded. Neat, tidy ... damning.

Not really on-topic, but it is a nice little overview of the evolution/creationism conflict history.

Re: dwise1, at "Paging johnfolton. Bring your evidence for a young earth."
Well, it does kind of veer back on-topic towards the end. In that creationists keep claiming to have all this evidence for creation, we keep trying to get them to present it, and they keep dodging and avoiding having to support their own claims. Consistently for four decades. And that topic was yet another attempt to get a creationist to present his evidence and yet again, no evidence ever got presented.

There was evidence presented and Razd didn't refute Gentry's evidence! Your side was in check and refusal to refute is Mate dude! If your side can not refute then its time to rewrite all the science books. right? Time for the evolutionists to eat crow, and admit the evidence supports a young earth.
P.S.If you guys can not refute science then its a young earth dude!
