sort of a branch-off from The DI loses one.
Dr. Robert Davidson of UW recently asked for his name to be taken of DI's famous "400 Scientists" roster of people who disagreed with or questioned evolution. he clearly indicated that he had the wrong impression of what the organization was about. so we sort of began questioning how many people on the roster, exactly, felt the same way. is DI misleading people?
well, the surest way to find out is to ASK THEM.
this thread, then, is to collect the email addresses of each and every one of the people on the list, if possible. nearest i can tell, this is the most recent list.
please note, i'm putting this thread here ONLY for information purposes: the collection of email addresses. for debate of the issue, please take it to the other thread. for now, we're just collecting addresses. then, if we're all agreed here, we should draft some kind of standardized questionaire, and email. please leave out phone numbers, as we don't want a million people to bother these people over the phone. email is pretty innocuous. i'd suggest finding campus directories.
i'll start, here's the one i posted in the other thread.

If your going to publish email addresses you might like to consider munging them. Spammers regularly spider through webpages harvesting email addresses.
EDIT: spelling

munging
Spammers regularly spider through webpages harversting email addresses
and I know they collect from this site. this is the only place that I use the e-mail associated with my posting here, just so that I can easily see the response notices. I get more spam with this addy than other accounts.
I know it is a problem that percy has struggled with. perhaps he should look into munging the addresses posted.
to the topic: fun.

Agreed, if this were done, then a "security message" could be added to the questionaire making it more likely to get a response.

interesting ...
nearest i can tell, this is the most recent list.
I get a {{302 Moved -- the document has moved Here}} error that recycles itself.
I found another copy of the list (a pdf file) and have saved it for future use. Now I just need to convert it to text to use as (1) search basis and (2) checkoff list

Re: interesting ...
I remember seeing a website a year or so ago with a long list of scientists, advertising them as doubters of evolution. Really they had all been asked whether or not the theory of evolution should be looked at using critical thought. I found the name of one of my old professors, a Dr. Lebo, on that list. Is he on the list you've found, RAZD?
EDIT: Nevermind, one of the links worked for me. I found him on this list:

Re: interesting ...
Razd (or anyone else since I cannot get that link to work) - if you get a moment sent it to me at deaddropbox@REMOVETHISANTISPAMBITgmail.com I have a number of tools that may allow me to just rip all the text off.
(oh and if anyone still wants a gmail account I have 50 of them to hand out).
