Robins and Quantum Mechanics.

I only learned this today. Apparently biophysicists are suggesting that European Robins might make use of quantum entanglement when migrating. Facinating. I always thought it was the Earths magnetic field, but thought the animal was using a system simular to sharks to orientate themselves. This is far more sophisicated.Edited by 1.61803, : edit link

It's quite fascinating isn't it! They might essentially have a quantum computer in their eye or at least they control and maintain superpositions at a rate which blows laboratory equipment out of the water.I think it's time to accept our new feathered overlords.

Or it's time to take a closer look at research that suggests a magnetic sense in humans.
