The scene: a pub in London. enter Charles Knight, Crashfrog, and Randman.
Typical London pub - all but one of the customers are bloody foreigners...
[enter Asgara, a barmaid. Enter Jar, Percy, and Holmes]
...and the barmaid's an illegal immigrant stealing our jobs!

I wish I didn't know now what I didn't know then

just doing my job
I did not take your play personally, and I did not mean to sound contemptuous, and I apologize for anything I said such that its tone might have conveyed that impression
I was just picking at you, Holmes.
Nothing in this thread can be taken seriously. It's turned into a shambles. The moderators need to step in and do their goddamned job.

The benefits of this topic

Time wasting Post. Please do not encourage this attempt to claim writers block

OK...How about Act II? There is a ball or a dance, is there not? Lets keep this play going.....
Holy shit, do you think one can produce this stuff on the spur of the moment?
It takes time. One has to cogitate. One has to study the various posters: also fornicate (that always helps). But when one is my age, one can only fornicate so often. It's not like one can just get it up on a whim.
Lately, I've been waking up in the middle of the night and laughing about this shit. This is very healthy. There are scientific studies that show that laughter increases your life span, or something of that sort.

Is there no Viagra? Is there no scotch?
Just look into your glass, and write. Jeez.

I find I cogitate best on the throne. Does that help?

Is there no Viagra?
Excuse me? I'm really not interested in drug-induced sex. If I can't get it naturally, then obviously I do not need it.
What a bunch of jackasses you are! That's why the world is over-populated! A bunch of guys sticking their thing into everything that shows signs of life.
You might want to show a little more discretion.

Doing our job
OK..you want moderators to do their job, Robin? This topic is now temporarily closed. When you are ready to continue your play, e-mail me and I will reopen the topic. Until then, closing the topic will eliminate all of this useless sidetalk.

Robin's thoughts on act II: "Going to the celebrity ball"
Obviously Ifen has to enter the picture, in Buddhist robes no doubt. He's been important to me on this forum, so there has to be a place for him. Phatboy will no doubt have to be wheeled in. God knows what I will do with him.
The old standbyes will be there. And they have been acting up lately to the point that there is no end to the stuff one could do with them.
Holmes, Crashfrog, and Randman--what more could a satirist want?
Still, not quite enough material yet.
