Yep. Calculus Augustus. Set himself up as "Holy Roman Emperor" in Gerapolis (modern Turkey) in 395 until the Byzantine Emperor Arcanius noticed him and squashed him like a bug the same year.

And doesn`t the word calculus come from the latin for pebble...
