Re: It all adds up, but yours is wrong
Evolutionists ran carbon dating test on the burnt soil of a small town that had burnt to the ground 30 years earlier. The test said it was a million year old city!
I'll bet Kent Hovind made that anecdote up. Ben, would you be so kind as to post a bit more detail over in the Dates and Dating forum? You've been fed a load of bull, but this thread is not where to give you an antidote.
And welcome!

Re: Evidence for Noah's ark
I have also seen pictures of Mars in many published books. There are some structures similar to pyramids.
No there aren't - at least not in non-fiction books. No pyramids, no faces, no Elvis - not in reality, at least.

This occured 2,000 yrs after the flood.
Not according to the Bibles I can find.
Genesis 11:10These are the generations of Shem: Shem was an hundred years old, and begat Arphaxad two years after the flood:
11And Shem lived after he begat Arphaxad five hundred years, and begat sons and daughters.
12And Arphaxad lived five and thirty years, and begat Salah:
13And Arphaxad lived after he begat Salah four hundred and three years, and begat sons and daughters.
14And Salah lived thirty years, and begat Eber:
15And Salah lived after he begat Eber four hundred and three years, and begat sons and daughters.
16And Eber lived four and thirty years, and begat Peleg:
17And Eber lived after he begat Peleg four hundred and thirty years, and begat sons and daughters.
18And Peleg lived thirty years, and begat Reu:
19And Peleg lived after he begat Reu two hundred and nine years, and begat sons and daughters.
Four generations. 340 years maximum. 2+35+30+34+239.
How many Mayans were there, again? And how many inhabitants of the Americas?

Also (supposing creation is true, which I believe is), radiocarbon dation would be inacurrate after some thousand years.

Ouch! There are so many huge errors in that one linked paragraph that it makes my teeth hurt!
Go poke around the "dates and dating" forum, Crue.

Horses are clean,
Nope. Not cloven-hoofed or cud-chewing. And besides, Frenchmen eat horse, so surely it can't be kosher.

I am going to bow out of this discussion for a while to do some research. I'll be back when I got some more information.
Good idea, I'll bet. You'll be astounded as to how often we've seen this same material around here.

Re: What's the density of hay (or how big/heavy is a bale)?
How 'bout Archaeoglobus and Desulfovibrio? They both reduce sulfate to hydrogen sulfide and make oil wells go "sour." Are they a single Kind?
