I don't see the need to use this thread to talk about "an anecdote." Funny or not, seems disrespectful to me, given the original purpose of this thread. Maybe I'm just too sensitive.

Contracycle (if/when contra returns), or anybody else who has a similar complaint, can request admin to re-open this thread. Until then, I see no reason to keep this thread open.
