Regarding "Points for a creator" by alaninnont
alaninnont has proposed a topic, responding specifically to my challenge that he present evidence contrary to what he calls the atheist and evolutionist point of view. AdminNosy (who recently posted an excellent piece that I nominated as a POTM) has suggested revisions in the interest of focus.
I would like to claim personal privilege, in as much as it was me he was quoting and because, in particular, I assured him (her?) that no points would be ignored.
I fully recognize the chaos that would ensue if the thread were opened for general participation as is. Therefore, I request, if it would be acceptable to alaninnont, that it be opened as a Great Debate topic for his and my participation only. I think limiting the participants would tend to keep the focus closer. What's more, since I threw down the gauntlet, I feel it appropriate that I be allowed the opportunity to meet alaninnont on the field of battle that I implicitly defined.
I am confident that the wise and fair AdminNosy, a recent POTM nominee, will consider my humble and respectful request and make a just decision.

RAZD's evidence topic
RAZD has proposed a topic that appears to address the question of the existence of gods. His position seems to be that neither the existence nor nonexistence can be supported by evidence, so the only logical position is that of agnosticism. Petrophysics1 has apparently indicated an interest in participating to defend the position that at least one god exists. I would be interested in participating to challenge both positions and in support of the proposition that gods do not exist.
I have not read any of RAZD's previous discussions on this subject in any detail, so I would ask that this discussion begin at step one. I have no problem with anyone copying anything from previous discussions, but would strongly prefer that nobody simply link to previous discussions and ask that I read them. I'd like this debate to stand alone.
I recognize that a three person Great Debate is out of the norm, but there appear to be three distinct positions outlined in RAZD's O.P., so it would seem appropriate to have three participants. If either RAZD or Petrophysics1 prefer it to be a 1 on 1 debate, I will retract my request.

Re: RAZD's evidence topic
I understand your position completely. And while I'm quite confident that a discussion between the three of us over beers at anyone's house would likely not change anyone's mind, I guess that will have to wait and see.

Re: CMI
And you actually think we're capable of telling that trio anything? I mean, you've been here 6 months now, I would have thought you'd have figured out by now that you can always tell a creo, but you can't tell them much.
