This set is my first set. Tomorrow I will produce another.
I think this one suits the website, as requaested by Admin/Percy. Tomorrow I'll do my best to make a set that suits your needs RAZD, aswell as the website style. And hopefully one set will be used.
I still think the first set beats what is currently used though.

I agree. there are two problems of contrast for the existing ones: button color contrast to the page and text contrast to the button color.
your dark border versions take care of the first.
(added) the color contrast to the page is a little compounded by there being alternating shades of blue between messages. I think you need a dark border on a light button with dark text on it to handle the contrasts.

Do any of these meet your requirements?
I think the second one meets our needs. I think I should do a second set like this design. I'm not sure you'll get your wish about explanitory text though. How desperately do you want it?

those are better. #2 more than #1. maybe a little more space around the text?
the explanatory text could also be handled in the page coding (flyout text on hover like you see on most browser buttons).

Yes, the flyout should be easy for Percy to impliment. All Mike needs to worry about is the button and the hover variation

SET 2
This is the second set. This hopefully solves RAZD's reading problem, while Lam gets his lrrb, and Asgara gets her font. The prgoram I/m using is very bad for small text application, i.e. extra explanitory texts. But if Percy could add this somehow? If not I could possibly attempt a go with PSP7 but it might be difficult.
Personally - I think this set should be implemented.
Here is set one. I leave it up to the Adminites.

Re: SET 2
I've just created an explanitory text. It seems to work okay. I'll provide the mouseovers to set two with explanitory texts, ASAP.

Asgara, here are the alternatives mouseovers for set 2.
I hope they're good enough.
Example, The button as it would appear visibly would be;
And the same for the rest, using the ones from message 40.

Hi Mike,
Just checked your buttons. They look good, but a couple comments.
The text color of all normal buttons should be the same.
The text color of all hot buttons (mouseovers) should be the same.
The mouseover text can't be part of the image because the normal and hot buttons have to be indentical in size a shape. The mouseover text is just HTML acronym text.

Hi Percy and Berberry.
So would you add the text on the hot buttons yourself Percy, and go with message 40?
Apart from the "reply" button, the text colours are the same for the normal buttons. I can create a reply button to go with the rest if you want.
Apart from that, the normal buttons are all dark blue in message 40, and the hot ones are orange. Is that okay?
