that particular occasion really fucking pissed me off, actually. i was trying to be very calm about a difficult situation and express real and deep emotion to crash and this jerk comes in and tries to destroy everything i've said by attacking my chosen typeface. not to mention that this happened not even a few weeks ago with a very important and considered post and one of the very few i actually get to make withing my fucking field and nobody did anything about it.at any rate, at least my short suspensions tend to coinside with naps or sleeptime and i've got shit to do anyways.Edited by brennakimi, : Provide reason for edit here.

how i've been acting lately? what the hell is that supposed to mean?i was involved in a serious and delicate conversation in which i was paying particular attention to how i was speaking and some guy comes out of left field and attacks my typeface and says absolutely nothing about what i said. i'll agree that my response was out of line, but the fact that this is the second time in the last month this has happened and he was not punished until three hours after the fact because someone else complained about it and not because any admin actually felt that he was behaving out of line.and if i'm so entirely ill-behaved and useless, then just ban me and get it over with.Edited by brennakimi, : No reason given.Edited by brennakimi, : No reason given.

i agree. it was more an issue of the thing that should have been settled two years ago when percy said that forum guidelines in no way require proper capitalization. i would suggest that style complaints should be ruled off-topic unless they really, really cause inability to be read like giant fucking sparkles or navy blue text on the navy blue background.

it seems to me that the title "General Discussion Of Moderation Procedures" should be open to any discussion of moderation procedure. the "12.0" part should express that this thread has been through many incarnations and is more than able to contain any number of topics of various breadths.i'd just like to express my displeasure at moose throwing his own weight around. a discussion between admins in a moderation procedure thread shouldn't be able to be acted on by one of the admins engaged in the discussion. this isn't the first time i've seen this kind of behavior from moose, or the first time i've made this suggestion either.Edited by brennakimi, : No reason given.

i'm really suggesting that people stop giving me shit for my stylistic decisions. i don't bother anyone else for theirs. and i rarely even bother to correct peoples' poor grammar. my typeface has been approved by the board administrator and that should be that.

i think it's generally acceptable to have a reasonable standard of decency. but then we have a reasonable standard of a lot of things here and that doesn't always work out because there are a few levels of reasonable here.i think if the content is hidden, that is acceptable. it's available to those who want to see it and hidden for those at work or with tender sensibilities. often, off topic posts are deleted, i think this should be amended.
