She talked a lot about the way "her people" experienced the world differently...that the goal of human has been survival through most of our evolution, but that that her people solved the basics of survival long ago and have been concentrating on improvement of the species. They have a very mathematical view of the world, but this didn't seem to preclude them (at least the one I spoke to) from being passionate, compassionate, or emotionally in touch with themselves. In other words, they weren't Mr. Spock of anything.
She spoke of mathematical concepts that were beyond my understanding, various "dimentions," though she stressed that her people has a different understanding of that word. She gossiped about her family, which was apparently one of some importance within thier social structure. She repeatedly made comments like "you are close to understanding, but not there" when I brought up things like decomocracy and the environmental movement in defense of my own species. She seemed torn between affection for humans and a sort of condescending annoynace at us.
The overall tone of her conversation was almost new age--that everything is connected and our actions influence the entire universe. But she didn't talk about a "great light" or meditation or anything. The language was almost all scientific.
Hope this helps. I'll pick through my notes and try to find a specifc topic to tell you more about.
