Re: Some facts that you may not be aware of
The science that Isaac Newton believed in. He was a Bible believing Christian, you know......
Charles Darwin was a bible believing christian.
....so was Hitler.

Re: Some facts that you may not be aware of
Evolution is not a science. I rejected it on the basis of scientific evidence against it. It isn't even close.
The more I hear stuff like this from creationists, the more it makes me think you guys have a serious guilty conscience. More and more, all the things that creationism is, is being pushed onto Evolution.
You call it a religion
You say it's not real science
You say there is evidence against it
You say there IS NO evidence
You say there is a dogma about it
You say we are close minded
(I mean you as in a "a creationist", not you in particular)
Those are things creationism is and purports, not science.

Re: Some facts that you may not be aware of
No, Calypsis, you have posted some neat pictures and made some claims without refuting or backing them up. You have yet to provide a solid argument for ANYTHING you have posted.

Re: Some facts that you may not be aware of
No, Calypsis, YOUR argument is shallow, because yet again, you fail to back up your statement. What human tooth? Where? Who found it? Who dated it? Was the find peer reviewed and published in a scientific journal?
Why do I respond? You're just going to ignore this as you have every single one of my other inquiries.
Edited by hooah212002, : No reason given.

Once again: this is the Science section of EvC, leave the apologetics out of it.

Re: Selection Pressures
greyseal writes:
What's genetic entropy? If it's a made-up creationist term without any kind of real work put behind it then it's worthless as a reason.
I was wondering the same thing. Here is what I found:
In the thermodynamic study of genetic processes, genetic entropy is a term defined in 2005 by American plant genetics researcher John Sanford as the mutational entropy affects within large genomes that cannot be reversed by natural selection. [1] This, according to Sanford, makes the eventual extinction of such genomes inevitable. Due to the religious undertones used in Sanford's book, the term has since been taken up by the intelligent design and creation science movement.
Now, that's not to take anything away from Mr. Sanford, but....he IS a creationist. But, the book is just that: a book. Not a peer reviewed journal.
