I missed out on the temporary foray into music discussion in the "Conciousness" thread.
So, pretty simple. Discuss what music you listen to? Who are your favorite artists? And who are your guilty pleasures?
ONE RULE: YOU MAY NOT RIDICULE OTHERS. NOT EVERYONE CAN HAVE SUCH GREAT TASTE AS I.

I haven't been keeping up with new music lately, So I'm still stuck on some old stuff.
Sigur Ros, Explosions in the Sky, Mogwai
Thrice, Killswitch Engage, Mineral, Sunny Day Real Estate.
Damien Rice, Swell Season, Zookeeper, Dustin Kensrue
ACDC, Zeppelin, Foreigner, Queen
And frighteningly, on long car rides my wife and I belt out Mariah Carey.

You should try listening to them while watching Planet Earth. Do it "Dark Side/Wizard of Oz" style. It is an EXPERIENCE. I came across it by accident and then read an article in the NYT about it a few years later.
