For my metal side: (heavy only, none of that pussy rock and roll (unless it's old)):
SuidakraAmon Amarth Dimmu Borgir Pantera Slayer Megadeth Metallica (pre-black album) Any viking metal Rammstein Now for my ghetto side (I grew up in what some may call "the hood. Yes, I was a wigger) Brotha Lynch HungThree Six Mafia Tech N9ne ICP (and all artists associated) My vice? Eminem. I used to hate that shit. Then I heard one of his newer albums and he became played out and I started to like it. I can't stand main stream shit. Who are we? Brotha Lynch Hung I actually met that jackass. He brought in his laptop to be fixed at a shop I worked at, complete with retinue of groupies. Fucker never answered his cell phone or checked his messages, and refused to pay in anything other than cash, which meant we couldn't actually send the laptop out. He became very angry, which amused me greatly.

So many genre's, so little time.
Amon Amarth, Sick of it All, Agnostic Front, Slayer, As I Lay Dying, All that Remains, Chimaira, Pantera, Killswitch Engage, Meshuggah, At the Gates, In Flames, Malevolent Creation, Death, etc. Metal and hardcore is my staple diet, but you could also find me dining on much more melodic stuff too numerous too name. Hey Granny. (Who is a guy)
That is really some crazy shit. I mean, a ska mix of "We Will Rock You"? Too cool. Thanks for the link. Have a good one. "My own suspicion is that the Universe is not only queerer than we suppose, but queerer than we can suppose. J.B.S Haldane 1892-1964

I really enjoyed Los Panchos as well, kudos to Onifre. I'd welcome any more recommendations for Cuban music. Awesome! I'd love to recommend more. This I would have to admit is my guilty pleasure, old afro/cuban music. In no particular order, anything from:
Buena Vista Social Club Beny More One of my favorites Juan Luis Guerra. Also a favorite Afro Cuban All Stars. And the Afro Cuban All Stars w/ the master Ruben Gonzalez (this is amazing). He should also have his own mention, his piano playing is beautiful, Ruben Gonzalez. And I'll leave you with Israel "Cachao" Lopez. [Add by edit]: How could I forget my favorite single song Joe Arroyo. Hope you enjoy these, Granny. I grew up listening to this music at all the family gatherings, so it has history with me. I hated it then, I absolutely love it now - weird. - Oni Edited by onifre, : No reason given.

Back in my pot-smoking youth I used to get ripped late at night, turn off the lights and zone out to Enya. Good relaxing music.

Back in my pot-smoking youth... I love when people use this disclaimer. This either means you smoke on occasion, still, or smoked tonight listening to Enya (or are about to). - Oni

Sadly not. I haven't smoked in a few years. Doing so would result in prison/jail because I'm on probation. Had it not been for that, I would light the fuck up every day.

Doing so would result in prison/jail because I'm on probation. For drug abuse? Listening to Enya while high. Never do that again, lol. j/k
Had it not been for that, I would light the fuck up every day. Do your thing for now, bro. It'll be legal soon anyway. - Oni

Thanks Oni, some great stuff there! I particularly like the Afro-Cuban All Stars, Ruben Gonzales is pretty amazing. Great playing. It's also really nice to see someone of his age still playing.
On a similar note, I went to see Barry Cryer last night as part of the Leicester Comedy Festival. At 74 Barry is one of the UK's longest running stand-up comics. It's nice to know that a performer isn't doing the gig for the money or to further their career; Barry doesn't need any of that. He's still performing purely because he loves it and it shows. Same thing with guys like Ruben Gonzales; you get a really genuine performance. Incidentally, I am familiar with Buena Vista Social Club, another class act. You've probably heard this, but just in case, here's BVSC's Ibrihim Ferrer from the first Gorillaz album. Mutate and Survive
